Diplomatic Solutions' Managing Director is Dr Tristen Naylor. A world-leading expert in international summitry, his most recent book examines how businesses and civil society actors can influence multilateral forums, providing a comprehensive history of international summits over the past two hundred years and detailing the most successful strategies for achieving priorities on the world's stage.

Over the course of his career Dr Naylor has developed a reputation as a trusted expert in global governance and international diplomacy, regularly advising governments, businesses, and non-profits. He is a frequent contributor and commentator in international media, including The BBC, Reuters, The Associated Press, France 24, CBC, CTV, ABC, and Newsweek.

Dr Naylor was previously the Lecturer in Diplomatic Studies at the University of Oxford, where he was named 'Most Acclaimed Lecturer' in the Social Sciences, a Fellow in International Relations at the London School of Economics, where he received the 'Excellence in Education Award', and Assistant Professor International Politics at the University of Cambridge.

Before his academic career, Dr Naylor served as a Policy Analyst and Advisor to the Government of Canada. In 2008 he was awarded the Canadian Public Service Award of Excellence by the Clerk of the Privy Council and Secretary to the Cabinet.

Dr Naylor serves on the Advisory Boards of The Hague Journal of Diplomacy, the leading academic journal dedicated to diplomatic practice, and London Politica, the world's largest pro bono political risk firm.
